A Vibrant And Youthful 35!
Ever Bilena’s 35th Anniversary Party held at the SMX was an extended ‘family affair’; with endorsers, trade partners, media friends, and long time associates joining Ever Bilena CEO Dioceldo Sy and his immediate family. More than a corporate party, it felt like a reunion, a gathering of people who genuinely like each other, and welcomed the opportunity to get together.
At one table, it was Dioceldo sitting with Hans and Carol Sy, Herbert Sy, Robina Gokongwei-Pe, Sec. Mark and Emmeline Villar, Lucio Co, and Anna Mae Lamentillo. At another it was Dioceldo’s Blackwater Family, the players and coaching staff of his PBA team. Tootsy Echauz-Angara, Quinito Henson, Dodie Boy Peñalosa, Ara Mina, Carlo Orosa, Gelo Serrano, it was table after table of friends who were moving around.
Hosts for Ever Bilena’s 35th Anniversary, Gino Quillamor and Issa Litton
As hosts Issa Litton and Gino Quillamor were ready to comment on, this was not some stiff corporate Anniversary affair, but an outpouring of mutual admiration. Employees of Ever Bilena for over thirty years were part of the AVP, commenting on how they had never contemplated leaving because it’s rare to find a Boss and a place of work where you’re treated like family, and not just some cog in the machine.
Silliman Sy, Dioceldo Sy, Lucio Co, with Denice and Jacob Munez
As Dioceldo and his brother Silliman were quick to point out, Ever Bilena is one of those rare instances where being family-run does not compromise with being professionally run. They manage to do both, and the growth, longevity, of the company is more than ample proof of this coexistence. The next generation is similarly primed, as Dioceldo’s newly-wed daughter, Denice Sy-Munez, has been trained in and has handled Marketing & Retail Distribution for some years now. She’s been directly involved with operations, and has a voice Dioceldo and Silliman are ready to listen to, especially when it comes to digital marketing.
Dioceldo Sy and his ‘court’
As Dioceldo mentioned when bringing the night to a close; the first 35 years have been good to him, and so here’s to the next 35!
