Extending The Family: Century Tuna’s Superbods & Ageless

For some ten years, the Superbods competition, held every other year, has been one of the pillars of the Century Tuna brand equity. So to put a twist on the 12th year incarnation of the competition, Century Tuna initiated a new category, the Ageless division. If in the past, contestants to Superbods were within the age range of 20 to 38; the Ageless category would find its contestants in the 38 years old to 50 range. So that’s 10 Female and 10 Male Superbods possibilities, and 10 Female and 10 Male contestants in the Ageless Group. I don’t think in their wildest dreams, Century Tuna could have anticipated the kind of response they would get by adding this Ageless category. It’s revived interest and participation in the Competition by bounds; and has brought a whole new demographic into the ‘family’ in a big way.

Now that the 40 have been officially presented to the public; a slew of exciting activities are on the agenda. The Ultimate Challenge at the Subic Inflatable Island happens next Monday, March 19. And a Superbods Weekend is calendared for the first weekend after Easter - a Zalora Fashion Show on April 7, the fun Underpants Run on the morning of the 8th at Filinvest City, Alabang, and an Electric Spinning Party that same afternoon at the BGC Amphitheater. It all culminates on the 12th of April with the Finals Night to be held at Cove, Okada Manila.

During this presentation of the 40 Finalists held at the Maybank Performing Arts Theatre, the brothers Chris & Leo Po were in the audience, joining Greg Banzon and Gela Gambia-Pecson. With this year’s version of Superbods and Ageless, Century Tuna has broadened its appeal meaningfully, making it one of the primary food options of choice for those conscious of living & eating healthy. No longer a mere dietary or nutritional concern, it’s a lifestyle choice and Century Tuna is proud to be part of that.
