Here's Everything You Need To Know About Fête De La Musique 2019

Now on its 25th year in the Philippines, the 2019 edition of the world-celebrated Fête de la Musique is going to be bigger—expect a longer lineup of artists, additional pocket stages, and surprise performances you’ll only see in Fête!

The Alliance Française de Manille, with B-Side Productions and the Embassy of France to the Philippines, will bring together fresh acts and new, exciting activities for this year’s crowd. Aside from the traditional main stages  offering a variety of music styles, the celebration introduces new and exciting activities for everyone.

The event kicks off with a pop up show on June 8 with Music Heals: Fête de la Musique Pop-Up, which will highlight the healing power of music. Nurse-rapper Fatima Palma-Loo frontlines the gig, alongside other artists, aiming to inspire, heal, and give hope to the children of the Virlanie Foundation in Makati City.

On June 15, catch the Sunset Collective Stage at KMC Skydeck in Bonifacio Global City, visit the Rockeoke Stage at Salon de Ning at The Peninsula Manila in Makati, and head to the Rizal Open Air Auditorim in Luneta Park for the SX Manila Stage to enjoy the pre-Fête de la Musique parties!

And finally, the festival mounts its first main stage on June 21 at the A-Venue Stage, with the special #GlobeFete Production Number (a special 25-minute performance led by Francis De Veyra and featuring Bituin Escalante, Aia de Leon, and more) to watch out for. The next day, don't miss the performances at the Greenbelt Stage from local favorites Urbandub, Autotelic, She's Only Sixteen, The Ransom Collective, and more.

Makati City will be packed (as usual) with music fans gathering in different pocket stages like the Acoustic Stage at Aspace, Bedroom Beats Stage at Yoi Sake Bar, Blues Soul & Funk Stage at H&J Sports Bar & Restaurant, Groove Stage at NoKal, Hip Hop and Street Dance Stage at Power Mac Spotlight, Reggae Stage at Cabin 420 Bar and Bistro, Spoken Word Stage at Y Café, Vinyl Stage at The Green Door, and 44 more around the area! Here’s a map for your reference, in case you’re in for some stage-hopping throughout the day!

And finally, we close the month-long musical spectacle on June 29. Get ready for an eargasmic treat wherever you are in the country, with Fête de la Musique main stages in Intramuros, Baguio, Bulacan, Batangas, Laguna, Palawan, and Pampanga! There’s also another stage on the same day for the Fête closing party at 20:20 and XX:XX, lineup to be announced soon.
