Landers Superstore Opens Its New Branch In Alabang West
Shopping at Alabang West gets a major upgrade as Landers Superstore opens its Daang Hari branch on Wednesday, the 14th of March. A ribbon-cutting and by invite-only preview was held Sunday afternoon. And just to show us how excited the people were, the notion of ‘by invite only’ was a pointless reference, as by 3pm, the parking lot was overflowing, and moving inside the reception area was like trying to traverse through a tin of sardines. It was that jam-packed, with the regularly laid back Alabang crowd visibly excited and abuzz!

After Atty. Lowell Yu, Chairman of South East Asia Retail Inc. (which owns Landers Superstore), Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar, and Megaworld’s Kevin Tan cut the ceremonial ribbon, it was shopping time with a capital ‘S’. Gloria Diaz with daughters Isabelle and Ava, Rajo Laurel and Nix Alañon, Aivee and Z Teo, Inno Sotto, Issa Litton with her daughters, Nicole Hernandez-de Los Angeles, John P. Orbeta, Erwan Heussaff, Nico Bolzico; these were just some of the people pushing shopping carts, and taking advantage of the special preview.

Known for their imported items and high quality local groceries and sundries, that Sunday saw several items on sale or with buy one, take one offers. There was even a fuel price off, with P10 off per litre for Landers Members/shoppers if they proceeded to the onsite Caltex gas station. While the store officially opens on Wednesday, several people on Social Media were reacting to the posts of the ones invited, and asking for price points for reference.
