The Search for the Next Metro Cover Girl on Kumu Sizzles Up
On its last weekend, the search for Metro’s next cover girl goes on full swing with those in the top five close to reaching 10 million diamonds
The pressure is heating up over the weekend for Metro’s cover girl challenge! The challenge, which will end on October 27 at 11:59PM, makes the search for Metro’s next cover girl even more exciting through the help of Kumu.
The final winners of this contest will be featured on the Metro.Style website and participate in a photo shoot with the Metro Team. This is every woman’s dream made come true on Kumu!
Five of those from last week’s leaderboard have been feature on Metro Chats, namely: Marinel Santos, Chelle Mariveles, Angela Janine, Ayela Negrito, and Monique delos Santos.
The contest gets even more exciting as the deadline nears. Here's the current leaderboard as of 9AM on October 26.

Monique delos Santos
Monique delos Santos currently tops the Metro leaderboard. This American Idol season 10 Hollywood finalist and Pinoy Got Talent season 5 semi-finalist, is a singer, songwriter, and painter.
Geli Cruz
Geli Cruz, who is now in second place, is a music and lifestyle streamer and is a self-confessed Disney Princess wannabe.
Nestle Garcia
Nestle Garcia, now at third place, is a doctor of medicine and a registered nurse. Her streams are often conversational.
Angela Janine
Angela Janine, now in rank 4, was part of World Supermodel Philippines 2017 competition, and is also a character actress. She often sings during her streams.
Marinel Santos
Marinel Santos, now in rank 5, is an international live band singer, recording artist, and vlogger—and is familiar to most as the 2nd runner up to Star in a Million in 2003.
Chelle Mariveles
Chelle Mariveles, who now ranks Top 6, started streaming only two months ago, and is known for her fun streams with challenges. She’ll dish out the occasional song or two during her streams.
Aryela Negrito
Aryela Negrito, who now is at rank 7, is a Filipina Fitness model and food enthusiast who advocates healthy offerings. She often streams about the new dishes she has created as restaurant-owner, and her fitness workouts.
Ais Roxas
Ais Roxas, now in rank 8, is an artist, singer, and music aficionado—and she is also True Colors’ lead vocalist. Similarly, she was a finalist in the Search for Star in a Million season 2, as well as a former television host.
Kikiyaaah
Kikiyaaah, now in rank 9, is Karlito Korner’s host princess, and a new face on the leaderboard who just started streaming for the campaign last October 19. Her streams are fun and often conversational.
Jessica Fernando
Finally, Jessica Fernando, also known as Little Girl With Curls, is a professional lounge singer, independent songwriter, and events host, rounds up the current top 10.
