Art Dubai 2021 - Silverlens
The 14th edition of Art Dubai takes place from March 29 to April 3. For this occasion, Silverlens is presenting a small but diverse collection of works by three of its represented artists: James Clar, Pio Abad, and Nicole Coson. The pieces in this presentation demonstrate the artists’ distinct practices; consequently, each of the works boasts a different style and medium.
The Space Within: Dindi Gallardo - Artinformal
The Space Within is a collection of works that explore the landscape of inner life and the concept of self in relation to time and space. Each video piece represents fragments of consciousness including the subliminal and abstract. With the exception of sequences that utilized old footage, all the recording and editing took place in one area of the artist’s home during a period of quarantine. The angles of the room became the contours of a skull, its contents a brain, and the camera its eyes. The exhibit is on view in Artinformal galleries until April 18.
