The Christmas bazaars begin!
Only 41 days until Christmas! That means holiday bazaars are beginning to pop-up everywhere. In this week’s Metro Weekend Guide, we’ve rounded up what you should watch, read, and go to:
Designer’s Holiday Bazaar
Gallery of Greenbelt 5
The Designers’ Holiday Bazaar is back for its 6th run at the Gallery of Greenbelt 5 from November 15 until December 15! The yearly holiday bazaar, organized and curated by sisters Bea Zobel Jr. and Sofia Elizalde, offers proudly Philippine-made products ranging from handmade accessories and fine jewelry, to woven bags and embroidered home decor, to scents, stationery, fashion, food and more.
SOUQ Holiday Trunk Show

Souq’s Holiday Trunk Show at Manila House is SOUQ's 10th event, with several successful editions held at SM Aura, Discovery Primea, Arya Towers and Arya Plaza. Other vendors curate globally sourced items like resort wear and interior decor, hard-to-find pieces that add an exotic flair to your wardrobe or home. They also feature small labels who are championing sustainability by creatively working with upcycled or eco-friendly materials. Visit them at Manila House in BGC this November 22–23.
Marie de la Roche Trunk Show

Theatre Titas' Macbeth is "a highly kinetic, physical interpretation of this Shakespeare classic; one that should result in black and blue bruises for the cast," writes resident theatre critic Philip Cu-Unjieng.
Antigone vs. the People of the Philippines
Black Box Theatre, Fine Arts Annex, Ateneo de Manila University
Antigone vs. the People of the Philippines is mounted by Ateneo de Manila's premier theatre group, Tanghalang Ateneo, and imagines Sophocles' heroine in a different setting: modern-day Philippines. Get your tickets here.
