Japanese Film Festival Plus (Nov. 20–29)
The Japan Foundation has carefully curated 28 full-length Japanese films from comedy, romance, drama, thriller, documentary, animation, and classic movies, which will be available for 24 hours in the newly launched JFF Plus website, watch.jff.jpf.go.jp, run by the Japan Foundation to share Japanese films overseas. Project Dreams: How to Build Mazinger Z’s Hangar by Hanabusa Tsutomu, the festival’s opening film, will have an extended run at the SM Cinema Drive-in at SM Mall of Asia over this weekend. Admission fee of P100 per head is inclusive of popcorn, beef franks, and bottled water. Tickets are available online at smtickets.com/sm-drive-in-cinema.
Electric Workout and Help Out!
If you’re still looking for ways to help out families and individuals affected by Typhoon Ulysses, check out Electric Studio’s classes. 100% of the sale from their single-class packs will go to Waves for Water Philippines, an organization that will provide clean water access for communities hit by the typhoon. You can also join classes to make a donation of any amount to Waves for Water: Off Bike / Electric Strength on November 21 at 3 p.m. and On Bike / Pure Electric on November 26 at 6:15 p.m.

Muni-Muni Stories, Episode 5 (Nov. 20, 6 p.m.)
Muni-Muni Stories, a podcast by the Filipinas Heritage Library, comes out with its fifth episode tomorrow, featuring Bayang Barrios. Expect discussion about her songs “Malayo Man, Malapit Din,” and “Katribo Ko,” as well as the space that our indigenous people create through music.
Ayala Museum Virtual presents Arturo Luz: First Light (Nov. 20)
Ayala Museum presents the virtual re-mounting of their 2017 exhibition Arturo Luz: First Light. Curated by Ambeth R. Ocampo, this 2017 exhibition was organized to celebrate the 90th birthday of Arturo Luz and his 60th year as a professional artist. Arturo Luz: First Light marks Ayala Museum’s first virtual gallery experience and it goes live in time for Luz’s 94th birthday. Arturo Luz: First Light will be virtually on show until January 31, 2021. The exhibition can be viewed at ayalamuseum.org/first-light.
Gavel&Block ‘Under the Tree’ Online Auction
