These songs have all stood the test of time, and most of them are songs that I grew up listening to,” she says.

If his fans enjoyed his "Smile" fan meeting last year, they're bound to enjoy "One Summer Night" even more with the song numbers he has prepared. Jung Hae-in appeared in K-Dramas Blood, Reply 1988, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, While You Were Sleeping, Prison Playbook, and has starred in Something in the Rain as well as One Spring Night. Silver Linings, a summit for the Philippine breast cancer community, is a forum that offers various topics for the different needs of breast cancer patients, their family, friends, and supportive medical team. Now on its fourth year, various medical professionals and other established personalities will serve as speakers—Gang Badoy, who will talk about healing by journalling and storytelling; Dr. Mae Corvera, will who speak about living and coping with a Stage 4 diagnosis, and Karmina Constantino, who will tackle dealing with depression after cancer, among others. Himala swept the Gawad Buhay Awards this May, and it’s back for a rerun at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Makati. Starring Aicelle Santos and Sandino Martin (with Celine Fabie and Vic Robinson as alternates), Himala is based on—yes, the 1982 Ishmael Bernal movie starring Nora Aunor. “Taking on themes of mass hysteria, the power of religion, the fragility and fickle nature of celebrity, and then doing all this in a very Filipino context, is all part of the magic spell cast by this musical,” writes Metro.Style’s Philip Cu-Unjieng. “Himala is a ‘miracle’ happening at the Power MAC, and shouldn’t be missed if you love theater.” Tickets are available via TicketWorld.

The Quest for Adarna is Repertory Theater for Young Audience’s first original musical, enlisting theatre greats Luna Griño-Inocian to write the book and lyrics, Rony Fortich to create the music, and Joy Virata, Jamie Wilson, and Naths Everett to direct. The show has taken the Adarna avian folk legend, and turned it into an accessible, lavish musical, set in the English language, starring Carla Guevara-Laforteza and Cara Barredo.
