This Movie-And-Dinner Date Plan Isn't Your Cliché Valentine's Treat

It’s not every day that we get to celebrate Valentine’s Day, especially when you and your partner have made annual traditions whenever the love month rolls in. But the frenzy the first month of the year has brought us may have taken its toll on you, and with less than a week to go, planning the perfect date may seem challenging.

Which restaurant should you go to (or more importantly, are there any tables in your favorite dining spot available on Valentine's day?) What present should you buy, and which ribbon goes well with the box you bought from your go-to gift shop? Which lipstick would suit this new dress you got from your recent trip abroad?

But your date should be worry-free. After all, this day is about enjoying each other’s company. It need not be lavish, too! So here’s a simple plan: go out on a movie and have a romantic dinner after.

With SM Cinema’s Watch·Eat·Love promo, couples are in for a dreamy treat! Catch the screening of exclusive films New Life and How to Be a Latin Lover—the former narrating the story of childhood infatuation growing into something much deeper, and the latter a more mature tale of lost love and finding one's self again—as you lounge in the Director’s Club Cinema of your choice. Laugh and cry as you share your main course served while you’re watching, with options including Smoked Salmon Pasta, Bolognese Pasta with Meatballs, and Chicken Cordon Bleu with Mashed Potato and Baguio Beans. And to turn up the kilig factor further and cap off the evening, a half dozen red roses or a half dozen pink lilies await the ladies inside the theater.
