Fashion Photographer Rxandy Capinpin Holds The "Inspire | Women" Exhibit For Women's Month

The Institute of Creative Entrepreneurship – Fashion, Arts, Design (ICEFAD) together with fashion photographer Rxandy Capinpin celebrates Philippine National Women’s Month this March with an exhibit titled "Inspire | Women" with an aim to empower women from all walks of life.

Sixteen women, exemplary in their own rights and respective fields sat in front of fashion photographer and ICEFAD Fashion Photography course specialist Rxandy Capinpin’s lens, embodying the vibrant passion for life and living. The exhibit is also a celebration of his eleventh anniversary in the fashion industry.

The roster of inspiring women includes beauty queen Gionna Cabrera; seasoned model and photographer Jo Ann Bitagcol; magazine editor-in-chief Liza Ilarde; Professional Models Association of the Philippines president Ana Sideco; restauranteur Alta Redor; fashion designer Kaye Morales; health enthusiast and business woman Ruby Gan; DJ Lady Trinity; seasoned actress Eula Valdez, fashion maven Lola Androgynous; magazine editor-in-chief Geolette Esguerra; veteran host, character actor; and philanthropist Tessie Tomas; singer-songwriter Nicole Asensio; educator Monina Tan-Santiago; and magazine editor-in-chief Peewee Reyes-Isidro.

ICEFAD Director of Communications & Marketing Levenson Rodriguez, sat as creative director during the photoshoot while ICEFAD Fashion Styling alumna and head of her own styling agency Gee Jocson of Gee Jocson Studio curated the looks with ICEFAD students and styling associates Kiki Tan and Julianne Calvadores assisted.

Pieces and ensembles worn by the subjects are all specially crafted by the ICEFAD course specialists, namely: Monina Tan-Santiago, Jinggay Serag, John Herrera, Card Arcita, Irene Grace Subang, Levenson Rodriguez, Roxanne Rey, Vanguard Uniform, Estien Quijano, Effe Caranglan, and students Marionne Jewel Liwag of Sainte Marion, Norman Alexis Abing of Alexandre Franco, Diane Mae Salamanque, Austeen Soriano, Kieth Angelo of Miss Kieth Manila, and Ercia Aguila.

Personal grooming were expertly provided by Abi Belisario, Poi Jakosalem, ICEFAD Traditional Bridal makeup course specialist Hanna Pechon, Lei Ponce, Jacky Pante, Alexies Muyo, and Albert Muyo.

The exhibit was inaugurated with an invite-only cocktails last March 21, 2019 at the East Atrium, East Wing, Shangri-La Plaza, EDSA corner Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City and will be open to the public beginning March 22 until March 31, 2019. Portraits of the subjects will be displayed alongside the actual garment or ensemble worn during the shoot.

The exhibit is in partnership with Shangri-la Plaza Rustan’s, Christopher Munar, Fleur Du Ciel, Crissa Jeans, Heaven By Deborah Mitchell, and Oro Gold.
