The Summer Palace Mid-Autumn Ball 2019 To Benefit The ABS-CBN Foundation Programs

Celebrating 30 years of public service, ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. (AFI) is upholding its commitment to provide assistance to every Kapamilya, wherever they are. Through its three main programs: Bantay Bata 163, Bantay Kalikasan, and Sagip Kapamilya, AFI has stayed true to its promise of being in the service of the Filipino at all times.

As such, AFI together with EDSA Shangri-La, Manila and Metro Society will have The Summer Palace Mid-Autumn Ball 2019 on September 12. The event will be a musical and entertaining night that will showcase the culture and traditions of the Chinese-Filipino community.

Furthermore, donations raised through this ball will help support and raise awareness on the advocacies of the foundation. Sagip Kapamilya is in every rescue and rehabilitation activity around the country, from reaching out to the victims of a Tondo fire, to providing aid during typhoons like Yolanda. Bantay Kalikasan continues its work in transforming landscapes in 60 communities nationwide, including the 3,000-hectare La Mesa Nature Reserve. Bantay Bata is in the task of continuously protecting, educating, and empowering mothers and their children.

AFI has continually pushed its limits in redefining its people, its role, and improving its ways of doing things. As the journey of compassion continues, AFI faces the challenge of making its projects and programs relevant and sustainable in the next 30 years.
