Design Week Philippines April 2019

This week is the 11th edition of Design Week Philippines (DWP), the biannual festival celebrating Filipino design and creativity. See the Philippines through the curated Design Tour, attend workshops and talks, and meet other creatives. Find out more about all the scheduled events here.
Manila Fame April 2019
April 25-27; World Trade Center, Pasay
Shop the home, fashion, and holiday products at the biannual trade show of high quality products that reflect Filipino design and craftsmanship from local vendors.
Kaleidoscope: An Art & Interiors Exhibit
April 28, 10am-7pm; The Peninsula Manila, Makati
As an official event partner for Design Week, Jas Ancheta Interiors is hosting a one-day exhibit featuring paintings, sculptures, photographs, mixed media works, furniture, and accessories from over 30 local artists. Prior to the exhibit, the interior design company will also be holding the Kaleidoscope: Collecting Art & Interior Design Workshop from 3 to 5pm on April 27 at Bar Pintxos Alabang. Admission is free for both the exhibit and the workshop.

Soirée by Retail Lab
April 27-28; The Fifth at Rockwell, R5, Power Plant Mall, Makati

Barrio Fiesta Latino 2019
April 28; Greenbelt 3, Makati
The Club de Damas Latinas celebrates Spanish and Latin American culture with a day of food, drinks, music, and shopping, including special merchandise from Spain and Latin America. Admission is free.
Talleres de Maximo Vicente at Rustan’s
5/F Rustan’s Makati
See the expansive exhibition of religious imagery from the private collection of the son of one of the most successful commercial santeros of all time, Maximo Vicente Sr., consisting of works by the artisans of Talleres de Maximo Vicente of Manila. See all the world-renown sculptures dating back to the early 20th century, which are all for sale. The exhibit runs until May 2.

Avengers: Endgame
With a current 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and all the rave reviews online, consider yourself lucky if you are able to score tickets (several theaters being completely sold out) to the final Avengers film in this MCU. You might want to see it as soon as possible before you accidentally encounter any spoilers, as everyone can’t stop talking about the epic film.
