Finite by Emman Acasio & Transitions by Jomike Tejido
Galerie Stephanie, Unit 4021 East Wing, Shangri-La Plaza Mall EDSA
See Emman Acasio’s realistic paintings meditating on environmental issues and Jomike Tejido’s colorful mixed-media pieces made up of cut-out woven mats on canvas and paper. Both shows are opening simultaneously at 6pm on March 2nd.
As a follow through of his first solo show Stories from Home, contemporary visual artist, Emman Acasio, recalibrates his iterations of thriving tableaus of flora and fauna by affixing images of the most recent Philippine natural disasters as static and strategic graphic cores. FINITE opens this Saturday, March 2, at 6 p.m.
Jomike Tejido finally launches this new collection of mixed media artworks in his 10th solo exhibition, aptly titled Transitions at Galerie Stephanie. Unlike his previous shows, pieces of this collection are mostly made up of cut out woven mats creatively positioned on canvas or paper as pivotal charm in the overall mix of his well-balanced color and whimsical composition. Transitions will open this Saturday, March 2 at 6pm, and will be on view until March 16.
