For the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic struck the world in 2020, Britain's biggest night in film was finally back with a red carpet, with some of the most talented names and creatives in the industry. This year saw the Baftas held in person with Rebel Wilson hosting the glamorous ceremony.

Leading the nominations were Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune, with 11 nominations, and Jane Campion’s western The Power of the Dog, with a total of eight. The latter of the two has taken the top two prizes at the Baftas 2022: best film and best director.
