Pablo Larraín’s upcoming film about Princess Diana, starring Kristen Stewart, has released its first trailer! The film also stars Jack Farthing (who will play Prince Charles), Sally Hawkins Timothy Spall, and Sean Harris, and will premiere at the Venice Film Festival before opening in theaters on November 5. Kacey Musgraves has a new album coming out next month 

This week, Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves announced that she will be releasing a new album next month, called Star-Crossed. Described as a “modern-day tragedy in three acts,” that “tells an extremely personal journey of heartache and healing,” Star-Crossed will be accompanied by a 50-minute film premiering Paramount+ on September 10. 


Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha premieres tomorrow, August 28

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, the highly anticipated K-drama on Netflix starring Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho, is finally premiering tomorrow! The series “depicts lives and romantic stories in the seaside following a woman from the city and a man who is a professional at everything.” It is helmed by director Yu Je-won who previously worked on Oh My Ghost and Tomorrow With You, and writer Shin Ha-eun who wrote The Crowned Clown


“Butter” (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) is out on streaming platforms

Earlier this week, the Butter remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion was in the middle of a legal controversy that included Megan’s label, 1501 Certified Entertainment. The rapper alleged that her label prevented the song’s release; later on, a judge ruled that Megan is clear to remix the song she’s featured on. Listen to it now: 



D.P. premieres today 

Are you ready for more Jung Hae-in? D.P. premieres tonight, and we can’t wait! Jung Hae-in plays Private An Joon-ho, a quiet soldier who just wants to keep to himself, but is assigned to the D.P. (Deserter Pursuit) team by his sergeant, Park Beom-goo (played by Kim Sung-kyun). 


Lovers of the Red Sky premieres on Viu on August 30

Lovers of the Red Sky starring Baeksang winner Ahn Hyo-seop premieres on Viu on August 30! The historical romance and fantasy series revolves around a young woman named Hong Chun-gi who lived during the Joseon Dynasty. She is a painter, which was rare during the time, and was born blind but somehow managed to get her vision back. 


Halsey’s new album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, is out!

Halsey’s newest album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, is out today, and has been receiving good reviews from critics. Produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (of Nine Inch Nails), the record features 13 tracks and has been described by Halsey as a “concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth.” Halsey recently gave birth last month, on July 14. 




Netflix is holding Tudum, its first virtual global fan event, on September 25



Tudum, Netflix’s first-ever virtual global fan event, is happening on September 25. Named after the sound heard when one plays a Netflix video, Tudum will showcase exclusive news about upcoming content as well as panels and conversations with the creators and stars of some of Netflix’s biggest shows: Emily in Paris, Cobra Kai, The Witcher, Stranger Things, The Crown, and Bridgerton
