EXO’s D.O. Is Considering Lead Role In New Drama

Following the success of his first solo mini album 'Empathy', Doh Kyung-soo is in talks to star in a new K-drama!

Are you ready for EXO D.O.'s comeback drama? We are.


On August 13, SPOTV News reported that D.O. had been offered to play the lead role in a new K-drama currently titled True Swordsmanship and is fixing his schedule to appear in it.


In response to the report, a source from SM Entertainment (his agency) stated: “D.O. received an offer to star in the new drama True Swordsmanship and is positively reviewing it.”



True Swordsmanship is a story about a prosecutor armed with bad manners and delinquency who gives unseemly justice for the weak and victims and pleasantly destroys all corruption in the prosecution organization and the Republic of Korea. D.O. was offered the lead role of Jin Jung, a delinquent prosecutor.


D.O. made his entertainment debut in 2012 as a member of EXO and began his acting career in 2014. He impressed fans with his talent for acting, starring in dramas such as It’s Okay, That’s Love and movie Swing Kids


Currently, D.O. is filming his new movie The Moon and also recently released his much-awaited solo mini album, Empathy, featuring the title track "Rose."
