Here Are Your 2021 Oscar Winners

It was a big night for representation at this year’s Academy Awards—a promising start for what’s hopefully to come

And just like that, this year’s awards seasons are, once again, over. The 93rd Academy Awards were held live from Union Station, celebrating achievements in film. There were a lot of firsts in this ceremony, with Chloé Zhao becoming the first woman of color to win Best Director for Nomadland, to Youn Yuh-jung winning big for her role in Minari. Representation was big at this year’s Academy Awards—what looks like a promising start for what’s hopefully to come.
