Here are the Winners of the 40th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards
“The Man Standing Next” and “Kim Ji-Young, Born 1982” win big!
This week, the Korean Association of Film Critics announced the winners for this year’s awards. Best Film and Best Actor went to The Man Standing Next, directed by Woo Min-ho, while Kim Ji-Young, Born 1982 won both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
According to Soompi, the ceremony for this year’s awards will be held next month, on November 11 at 6:30 p.m. KST and will be hosted by Choi Jung-won and Kim Ha-na.

Best Director: Im Dae-hyung for “Moonlit Winter”
"Moonlit Winter" also won Best Screenplay and Best Soundtrack.
Best Actress: Jung Yu-mi for “Kim Ji-Young, Born 1982”
Best Actor: Lee Byung-hun for “The Man Standing Next”
Best Supporting Actress: Kim Mi-kyung for “Kim Ji-Young: Born 1982”
Best Supporting Actor: Park Jung-min for “Deliver Us from Evil”
Best New Director: Yoon Dan-bi for "Moving On”
Best New Actress: Kang Mal-geum for “Lucky Chan-Sil”
Best New Actor: Kwak Min-gyu for “Move the Grave”
FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics) Award, Korean branch: Hong Sang-su for “The Woman Who Ran”
Technical Award: Special effects for “Peninsula”
"Peninsula" also won Best Cinematography.
