Running Man
The show frequently stars local Korean celebrities such as idols (BTS, 2PM, Girl’s Generation, Super Junior), actors (Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-Wook, Nam Joo-Hyuk, Lee Sung-Kyung), and other entertainers. If you catch the earlier episodes, you can still watch the ones when Song Joong-Ki, Kang Gary, and Lizzie (After School) were still part of the permanent cast!
Hangout with Yoo
Last year, he brought musical supergroup Refund Sisters to life which featured Jessi, MAMAMoo’s Hwasa, Lee Hyo-ri, and Uhm Jung-Hwa. This year, he’s working on an all-male vocal group MSG Wannabe which includes his Running Man co-star Ji Suk-Jin. Plus, don’t miss the latest episodes featuring Vincenzo’s Jeon Yeo-been!
Master in the House (also known as All The Butlers)
Featuring all-male lineup Lee Seung-gi, Kim Dong-Hyun, Yang Se-Hyung, and soon Yoo Su-Bin (Crash Landing on You and Startup), Master in the House is a variety show centered on shadowing and learning under the wing of “masters of success”. These “masters” include experts in business and finance, world-renowned athletes and celebrities, and other specialists in various fields.
Sixth Sense
One of the newer variety shows currently airing, Sixth Sense is a mystery-solving game program that aims to detect what’s fake among what’s real. Featuring Yoo Jae-Suk, Jeon So-Min, Jessi, Lovelyz’s Mijoo, Oh Na-Ra, and Lee Sang-Yeob, Sixth Sense reveals three unique and nearly unbelievable places or people located in South Korea and the cast members must activate their “sixth sense” to determine the one that’s made-up among the three.
Knowing Brothers (also known as Men on a Mission)
First aired back in 2015, Knowing Brothers is a variety program featuring comedians Kang Ho-Dong, Seo Jang-Hoon, Lee Soo-Geun, Super Junior’s Kim Hee-Chul, Min Kyung-hoon, Kim Young-chul, and Lee Sang-min as high school students. Each episode welcomes celebrities, entertainers, actors, and singers as “transfer students” for a battle of wits and humor.
