Lee Dong Wook in Talks For New Drama From Director of 'The Uncanny Counter'
Here's what we know so far about the actor playing the lead role in upcoming drama, 'Bad and Crazy'
Lee Dong Wook is in talks for a new, exciting superhero drama from the director and writer of The Uncanny Counter!
According to several reports, Yoo Sun Dong, the director of The Uncanny Counter, and Kim Sae Bom, who had written episodes 14-16 of The Uncanny Counter, were teaming up for a new drama called Bad and Crazy. Lee Dong Wook recently received an offer to star in this new drama from OCN, and only the final stages of negotiation are left.
Bad and Crazy is a mystery, thrilling superhero drama about a protagonist who has lived their whole life as a police detective but changes into one who fights for justice and works against police corruption when a hidden persona called “K” awakens inside them. He has several different personalities within him, all of whom attempt to solve crimes. Bad and Crazy is expected to premiere in the second half of this year.
On April 1, Lee Dong Wook’s agency was asked for a comment regarding reports that the Tale of the Nine Tailed actor was in talks for the drama. King Kong by Starship stated, “He is positively reviewing the casting offer from Bad and Crazy.”
