Metro.Style Launches Metro Best K-Drama Awards 2021

We’ve honored the best dramas last year in Metro Best K-Drama Awards 2020, and we’re back this year to honor the best K-dramas that are shown in the Philippines.  

We’ve talked about many of them on K-Drama Round Up on Facebook, now on its fourth season. The Philippines witnessed a resurgence of K-fever which started last year via dramas Crash Landing on You, The King: Eternal Monarch, Itaewon Class, Record of Youth, The World of the Married, and It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. 

And for this year, we will acknowledge the top dramas, actors, actresses, and other technical achievements from October 2020 to October 2021, covering dramas such as Start-Up, Vincenzo, River Where the Moon Rises, Mine, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Yumi’s Cells, and more!

Now we’re back to honor the best K-Dramas of the year here on Metro.Style, the ultimate source for the best curated and quality K-Drama content in the country through Metro Best K-Drama Awards 2021! 

The first of its kind in the Philippines, Metro recognizes the top dramas, actors and actresses, and other technical achievements in this exciting digital awards event. 

There will be a combination of Jury categories, People’s Choice categories, and special awards, that will cover dramas that are available to watch in apps or platforms accessible in the Philippines, and have aired starting October 2020 and ended by October 2021.

The Jury categories will be decided by a panel of judges composed of Metro editors and experts, while the People’s Choice categories will be determined by YOU, our dear reader!

For the People’s Choice categories, readers have nominated awardees on Metro.Style, and they have announced the nominees on social media and on Metro.Style.

Now that the nominees have been announced, the voting will commence on Metro.Style from December 1 until 7, 11:59PM via the Metro.Style Facebook, Metro.Style Twitter, Metro K-Drama Club Facebook Group, and the Metro.Style website.
