West Side Story and In The Heights trailers
At the Oscars early this week, two new trailers of upcoming movie musicals premiered: Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated West Side Story remake, and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights film adaptation. We can’t for the films’ release this June and December.
Despite the pandemic, the Oscars went on, this time categorized as a “film production” as it handed out awards at Los Angeles’ Union Station. This year’s awards were historic as they featured wins from Youn Yuh-jung and Chloé Zhao for Minari and Nomadland, respectively. But there was a bit of a misstep when the night ended with Anthony Hopkins’ win for Best Actor, a category that many thought would be given posthumously to the late Chadwick Boseman for his work in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
ITZY has returned with a record-breaking mini album called GUESS WHO, with a new music video for the album’s title track. “Mafia in the Morning” came out today, as well as five other songs. Head to Spotify or wherever you get your music to listen to the album now!
