Kim Go-Eun
This actress and singer first made her debut in A Muse (2012) which garnered a lot of media attention, critical acclaim, and won her several Best New Actress awards that year. Having wanted to become a filmmaker after watching Chen Kaige's Together many times, she attended Kaywon High School of the Arts and took up Drama at the Korea National University of Arts. Shortly after A Muse, she took a hiatus to finish her studies, returning to film in 2014 starring in the thriller Monster where she played a developmentally disabled woman whose younger sister is murdered by a ruthless serial killer. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016)
The story behind this award-winning drama begins in ancient times where Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) was an unbeatable general in wars. However, the young King (Kim Min-Jae) was jealous of Kim Shin and decides to kill him. Kim Shin becomes Dokkaebi (Goblin), possessing an immortal life. At first he thinks that he is blessed, but he realizes that he is in fact cursed. Closer to the present day, Kim Shin has waited 900 years for a human bride to end his immortal life. One night, he saves a dying pregnant woman (Park Hee-Von) who is destined to die. Meanwhile, the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong-Wook) is unable to find the dead pregnant woman. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016)
One night, Eun-Tak's mother suddenly dies. It is then that she meets the Grim Reaper. In the present day, Ji Eun-Tak is a high school student. She still sees ghosts and hears their whisper of “Dokkaebi’s bride.” She now lives with her aunt’s family, but is unfortunately mistreated by them. On her birthday, Ji Eun-Tak sits by the sea with a birthday cake with a candle lit. At that time, Kim Shin suddenly appears in front of her. Kim Shin does not know why, but he can hear her voice and appears in front of her against his will. Coincidentally, Kim Shin lives with the Grim Reaper at the same house. Now, Kim Shin appears in front of her against his will, whenever she turns off the lights. One day, Ji Eun-Tak tells him that he is Dokkaebi and she is his bride. This drama was a hit worldwide and won big at the 2017 (53rd) Baeksang Arts Awards where it won the Daesang (Grand Prize) for its writer Kim Eun-Sook and Best Actor for Gong Yoo.

The King: Eternal Monarch (2020)
The story begins in 1994 where the Kingdom of Corea encounters severe upheaval. The King (Kwon Yool) is murdered by his brother Lee Lim (Lee Jung-Jin) and the King's son Lee Gon (Jeong Hyun-Jun) is stabbed in the neck, but manages to survive. Lee Lim seeks to possess the Manpasikjeok, a legendary flute that holds supernatural powers. After a mysterious figure appears with a gun, Lee Lim slips away with only half of the now broken flute. The young Lee Gon holds onto a police badge he grabbed from the mysterious figure. The next day, Lee Gon is appointed the next ruler of the Kingdom of Corea and his first duty as king is to grieve and put his father to rest. 25 years later, in the autumn of 2019, King Lee Gon (Lee Min-Ho) governs the Kingdom of Corea as its benevolent leader. He is still haunted by what happened when he was a child and the mystery behind the police badge left by his savior. The police badge he held was issued on November 11, 2019 for Lieutenant Jeong Tae-Eul.

The King: Eternal Monarch (2020)
Then, it is Autumn 2019 in the Republic of Korea and we meet Jeong Tae-Eul (Kim Go-Eun), a detective in the Violent Crimes Division at the Seoul Jongno Police Station. She is working undercover to take down the operator of an illegal online gambling operation. Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Corea, King Lee Gon chases after someone that is dressed like a rabbit with a clock. King Lee Gon has a feeling that this person is somehow connected to the incident from 25 years earlier. In his pursuit, King Lee Gon crosses over from the Kingdom of Corea into the parallel world of the Republic of Korea. King Lee Gon finally meets Detective Jeong Tae-Eul. This project marks a reunion for actress Kim Go-Eun and screenwriter Kim Eun-Sook who previously worked together in Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.

Kim Hyun-Joo plays Han Jung-Won, a 29-year-old single woman with a good educational background. Her parents are successful and she has an older brother. Jung-Won and her brother work for the family publishing company. Jung-Won dreams of one day taking over the publishing company. She works hard and places her career before personal life. Even though her mother seems to favor her brother, Jung-Won's life seemed perfect, but then she learned that her parents were not her real parents. Two babies were switched in the hospital. Who did she switch with? Hwang Geum-Ran (Lee Yu-Ri), who is also a 29-year-old single woman however only finished high school. She has parents and two sisters. Her older sister is married and has a daughter. Geum-Ran's mother runs a small restaurant, while raising her and her sister. Her father is addicted to gambling and does not take care of family at all. Geum-Ran works in a bookstore. She breaks up with her law student boyfriend. Devastated, Geum-Ran became desperate and eventually also learns that her parents are not her real parents. The story follows these two characters as they discover the truth and seek to find out who they really are.

Kim Ji-Won
Trained in both acting and singing, Kim Ji-Won decided to focus and really pursue the former. She first gained attention after starring in the 2011 sitcom High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged. After, she was cast in her first major television role in the musical drama What's Up and made her film debut in the romance omnibus film Romantic Heaven. Then, she starred in the high school drama To the Beautiful You and headlined the film Horror Stories. To this day, Kim has a total of 11 dramas to her name, as well as 4 movies.

The Heirs (2013)
This drama follows a group of rich, privileged high school students as they are about to take over their families' business empires, overcoming difficulties and growing every step of the way. Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) is a wealthy heir to a large Korean conglomerate called Jeguk Group He was exiled to the United States by his brother Kim Won (Choi Jin-hyuk), who tries to take control of the family business. While in the States, he meets Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye), who went there to look for her sister.

Despite being engaged to Yoo Rachel (Kim Ji-won), a fellow heiress, Kim Tan soon falls in love with Eun-sang. When Kim Tan returns to Korea, his former best friend turned enemy Choi Young-do (Kim Woo-bin) begins picking on Eun-sang to irritate Tan. Tension ensues when Young-do also falls in love with Eun-sang, and Kim Tan is forced to choose between his responsibility of pursuing the family business or love. Kim Ji-won plays Rachel Yoo, Kim Tan's fiancée. The rich, chic and haughty heiress of clothing company RS International, she is also known as "Jeguk High School's "Paris Hilton". Gabdong, the Memories of Murder (2014)
20 years ago Moo-Yeom’s (Yoon Sang-Hyun) father was a suspect in the Gap Dong serial murder case. Because of the detectives’ oppressive investigation, Moo-Yeom’s father killed himself. We see Moo-Yeom become a detective, working to capture the killer Gap Dong. The statue of limitations has expired for the serial murder case and Moo-Yeom resigns to the belief that Gap Dong is dead. New clues though for Gap Dong appears in front of Moo-Yeom and he sets out to catch him once and for all.

Kim Ji-Won plays Ma Ji-Wool in this drama series. This drama was inspired by the "Hwaseong serial murder case" which occurred from 1986 to 1991 in the Taean Neighborhood of Hwaseong, South Korea, where ten women were raped and murdered.

Descendants of the Sun (2016)
Kim Ji-won brings to life the role of First Lieutenant Yoon Myung-ju—an army doctor who is also the daughter of Lieutenant General Yoon, commander of the South Korean Special Forces Brigade. She followed her father's footsteps and graduates from the Korea Military Academy, where she was a junior of Si-jin, before doing an internship at Haesung Hospital. During her first assignment, where she was the medical officer on duty during a training exercise, she first meets Dae-young and is instantly attracted to him. Their relationship is well-known among the other doctors at Haesung Hospital and fellow soldiers, but is considered a taboo as she is an officer and he is a non-commissioned officer. However, it does not deter her from pursuing Dae-young, much to the Lt. Gen's chagrin.

King and I (2007)
In the Joseon Dynasty period, the kingdom was enveloped in a political maelstrom. Cheo-seon was born as a posthumous child and separated from his mother immediately. He was raised by Weol-hwa and the old Swe-gwi, who ran the eunuch school. When he meets Yoon So-hwa (Ku Hye-Sun), the daughter of a powerful noble, he falls in love with her immediately. He voluntarily becomes a eunuch to be close to So-hwa and is assigned to work for Cho Chi-gyeom, a senior eunuch. Entering the royal palace, he sees King, Sung-Jong and So-hwa spend their first night together. He becomes So-hwa’s loyal protector.

King and I (2007)
As the political battles rage on among the courtesans and wives in the palace, So-hwa is chosen by the king to be his queen and Cheo-seon vows to be her loyal servant. Dream High (2011)
IU plays Kim Pil-Suk, this drama marking her first acting role—a shy school girl who dreams of becoming a professional singer. IU shared that initially was doubtful about her readiness to take on acting, but later remarked that she gained confidence in learning that the part would require singing and would later describe the experience as a tremendously enjoyable one. For the series' soundtrack, she released the single, "Someday", which achieved number-one position on the Gaon Digital Chart on the week of January 30 – February 5, 2011.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)
When a total eclipse of the sun takes place, Hae-Soo (IU) travels back in time to the Goryeo era. She wakes up in the year of 941 in the body of Hae Soo, among the many royal princes of the ruling Wang family during the reign of King Taejo. My Mister (2018)
Ji-An (IU) lives in a difficult situation. She supports her grandmother who is unable to move by herself. Ji-An is also in heavy debt and is harassed by loan shark Gwang-Il (Jang Ki-Yong). Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010)
Set during the Joseon Dynasty, Sungkyunkwan Scandal centers around 4 young handsome students who study at Sungkyunkwan University and tells the story of their love and friendships. Kim Yun-Hee (Park Min-Young) is a smart, responsible young woman with an independent drive. Since her father passed away she has worked to support her family, but also managed to do well in her studies. One day, Kim Yun-Hee takes the place of her brother and disguises herself as a man to take a men's only national exam. On the day of the exam, Kim Yun-Hee meets Lee Seon-Joon (Micky Yoochun) and becomes friends. Lee Seon-Joon comes from a privileged background and also possesses good looks. He is also arrogant. They both pass the national exam and even share a room together at Sungkyunkwan University.

The IOTNBO actress began her career in the sitcom Potato Star 2013QR3 (2013–2014), which was then followed by major roles in period drama Diary of a Night Watchman (2014) and Last (2015). While Seo's ambition was initially to be a TV news presenter, she stepped in the entertainment industry by appearing in an advertisement in 2013. The story begins with Bong Sang-Pil (Lee Joon-Gi) who, when he was little, lived with his mother in Gisung. His mother worked as a lawyer and she took on a case that Judge Cha Moon-Sook (Lee Hye-Young) got involved with. Judge Cha Moon-Sook was the most respected person in the city. One night, Bong Sang-Pil witnessed his mother get killed by Judge Cha Moon-Sook's subordinate (Choi Min-Soo). Bong Sang-Pil got out of Gisung and went to live with his gang boss uncle Choi Dae-Woong (Ahn Nae-Sang). Bong Sang-Pl decided to become a lawyer to take revenge on those responsible for his mother's death. 18 years later, Bong Sang-Pil works as a lawyer. He sees news on the TV that a detective was arrested for killing the mayor of Gisung. The detective holds a key to the murder of Bong Sang-Pil's mother. Bong Sang-Pil returns to Gisung for the first time in 18 years. He opens up a law office there.

Autumn In My Heart (2000)
There were two girls who were born in October. They had the same birthday and were raised in the same village and in the same class. One led a happy life with loving parents and a brother. Her name was Eun-suh (Song Hye-Kyo). However, the other was raised by a single parent and was living in poverty. Her name was Shin-ae (Han Chae-Young).

Princess Hours (2006)
Directed by Hwang In-Roe and Kim Do-Hyung, and written by In Eun-A based on a comic by Park So-Hee (comic), Princess Hours is about Chae-gyeong (Yoon Eun-Hye) who is an ordinary art high school student. One day, she hears totally unexpected news that, based on her grandfathers will, she must marry the unemotional Crown Prince Lee Shin who attends the same high school. Free-spirited Chae-gyeong resists the proposal, but reluctantly marries him to help her debt-ridden family. This historic drama tells the tale of Jumong, the hero who opened up the skies of the Old Joseon by fighting thousands and thousands of armies. The series examines the life of Jumong, founder of the kingdom of Goguryeo. Few details have been found in the historical record about Jumong, so much of the series is fictionalized. The fantastic elements surrounding the original Jumong legend (such as those concerning his birth) have been replaced with events more grounded in reality.
