Song Kang made his acting debut in 2017 with a supporting role in The Liar and His Lover as  Baek Jin-woo, a drummer and a childhood friend of Red Velvet Joy’s character, So-rim, who he is in love with. He hosted several programs, including SBS’s music program Inkigayo (along with Seventeen’s Mingyu and DIA’s Jung Chae-yeon), and joined variety show Village Survival, the Eight.

In 2018, he made his big-screen debut with fantasy film, Beautiful Vampire. The following year, he landed his first main role in the Netflix original series, Love Alarm, beating out 900 other hopefuls in the audition. His portrayal of Sun-oh proved to be a career maker for Song, with the series ranking as one of Netflix’s top releases of that year. In 2020, he propelled to stardom as the lead actor in another Netflix original, Sweet Home.

2021 seems to be the year for Song Kang, though, with several back-to-back dramas airing with him as a star, including season 2 of Love Alarm. Below, we list all eight drama series and appearances you can catch this K-drama heartthrob in!
