Heads Up: iWant Is Moving To a Bigger, Better Home

ABS-CBN’s streaming platform is merging with TFC beginning September 1

If you opened iWant this Monday, you might’ve seen an announcement: iWant will be migrating to a new system.

“As we remain committed in bringing valuable information and quality entertainment to Filipinos worldwide, iWant will be merging with TFC Online and will be migrating to a new system accessible worldwide,” the statement reads.

Because of this, the iWant app and website will no longer be available starting September 1. Instead, the new iWant TFC app and website will have a soft-launch.

1. Beginning on September 1, iWant users will need to download the iWant TFC app or visit iwanttfc.com.

2. Users with a free plan will need to register and create a new account in the new app or website.

3. Premium users don’t need to re-register—they just need to log-in with their current account details.

More information will be announced in the upcoming days.

iWant was relaunched in 2018 and quickly became a healthy archive of classic Filipino films and TV shows, from restored greats to independent films.  TFC, or The Filipino Channel, is a global subscription television network where users abroad can watch Filipino films, TV shows, live sports, and news.
