Watch The Teaser of Apple TV+’s ‘Little Voice’
With original music by Sara Bareilles, ‘Little Voice’ is a ‘love letter to the diverse musicality of New York’
Have you checked out Apple TV+ beyond The Morning Show?
The streaming platform’s catalogue, while small, is tightly-packed with quality and worthwhile shows, from the Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon starrer to a documentary about the history of the LGBTQ+ movement through the lens of TV, Visible: Out on Television.
This July, a new show—Little Voice—is set to premiere, and it’s “a love letter to the diverse musicality of New York.” Produced by J.J. Abrams, created Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nielson, and starring Brittany O’Grady, Sean Teale, Colton Ryan, Shalini Bathina, and Kevin Valdez, Little Voice follows Bess King, “a uniquely talented performer struggling to fulfill her dreams while navigating rejection, love, and complicated family issues.”
The show will feature original music by Bareilles. She released the title track, “Little Voice” late last night, June 12. “I wrote LITTLE VOICE when I was 24 years old and it has been sitting as a ‘demo’ ever since,” Bareilles said on Instagram. “I’m so proud to see it as the theme to a new show about finding your voice! Made with love.” The song, which is also the name of her 2007 record, is now available to stream on Spotify or Apple Music.
Little Voice premieres on the Apple TV app on July 10.
