The Cast of ‘The Parent Trap’ Will Reunite For Charity Tonight
They will also honor the late Natasha Richardson, who played Elizabeth James
The cast of The Parent Trap, a remake of the 1961 film of the same name, will reunite tonight at 9 p.m. via Instagram Live! The reunion will be moderated by Katie Couric, and will benefit Chef José Andrés’ charity World Central Kitchen, “which provides fresh and healthy meals to communities that need it the most.”
The film’s star Lindsay Lohan will be joined by Dennis Quaid, Elaine Hendrix, Lisa Ann Walter, and Simon Kuntz, as well as The Parent Trap’s director and producer, Nancy Meyers and Charles Shyer. The reunion can be watched on Couric’s Instagram account.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the cast is also set to honor the memory of the late Natasha Richardson, who played Elizabeth James. Richardson passed away in 2009 after a skiing accident.
