Netflix Just Announced The Release Date Of “The Umbrella Academy” Season 2

The Umbrella Academy returns to Netflix this July!

Based on the comic book series by Gerard Way, The Umbrella Academy tells the story of seven children adopted by a billionaire who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his ‘children’ to save the world. 

The cast members set to reprise their roles include Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min. Steve Blackman (Fargo, Altered Carbon) will return as Showrunner and Executive Producer.

Not much has been divulged about what else to expect in the new season, but we’ve no doubt we’ll learn more about it in the following weeks.

Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy premieres on July 31 on Netflix.
