Here's Everything We Know So Far About BLACKPINK Rosé's Solo Debut

The girl group's main vocalist is set to debut her solo track before the month ends

If you, like me, have been waiting for this moment for months on end, it’s almost time to celebrate: Rosé of BLACKPINK is set to premiere her solo track at the girl group’s upcoming online concert THE SHOW.

This morning, BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment revealed new details about Rosé’s highly-anticipated solo: the music video, for one, has been filmed, and she is set to debut her solo track before the month ends.

According to a report by Soompi, the agency said: “Rosé completed all filming for her solo album title track’s music video in mid-January. As the production budget for the video was unprecedented, the music video is a large-scale production, and we are currently doing our utmost in the final stages to ensure a high-quality release.”

YG will make a separate announcement about the release schedule of Rosé’s solo debut album. The track itself, according to the agency, is “mellifluous, while also capturing the strengths of Rosé’s soulful vocals.” It is also “completely different from BLACKPINK’s music to date.”
