First Listen: Rosé’s Solo Is Here, and It’s Magical

This morning, I, a Rosé stan (in case it wasn’t obvious enough), woke up with an extra spring in my step because it’s finally the day she releases her highly anticipated solo since it was confirmed over two years ago.

Her newest album, entitled R, consists of two songs: “On The Ground,” a slow, sumptuous pop rock track about her ascent to fame and “Gone,” a moody, folksy pop song about the pain of losing someone you love. Both songs feature her enchanting vocals, and both songs were also written by Rosé herself. 

Rosé previously performed “Gone” at Blackpink’s recent livestream concert, “The Show.”
