In Preparation For Her Upcoming Album, IU Is Releasing A New Song This Month

At the 35th Golden Disc Awards this week, IU shared that she was in the process of releasing a new album, her fifth full-length record since Palette in 2017.

According to her agency EDAM Entertainment, she is set to pre-release a song from her upcoming album before the month ends, on January 27.

According to a report by Soompi, the song is said to have a “bright and cheerful pop sound that can energize those listening to it. It’s a genre of music that IU is trying for the first time.”

The K-ent star’s most recent release is “eight,” a collaboration between her and BTS’ Suga.
