Lorde Teases New Single

New Lorde is finally on the horizon! 

Four years since the release of her critically acclaimed album Melodrama, the New Zealand pop star has finally started teasing new music: a single called “Solar Power.” 

She updated her website yesterday with a photo of herself on a beach, with the words “ARRIVING IN 2021 . . . PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE” under. Her social media remained quiet, not different from the past years where she would update fans on her whereabouts only through her mailing list. 

In May of last year, Lorde told fans that she had started recording new music, as well as working with producer Jack Antonoff in December 2019.
