Momoland Gives Back: Concert Earnings Donated To Antipolo City Kids
Momoland is back—this time to give back to the kids of two barangays in Antipolo City!
This coming October 5, Momoland is coming back to the Philippines for Good Friends in Manila. And it looks like the girl group has endeared themselves to the Philippines as they turn the concert into a major charity event.
According to Momoland’s agency, MLD Entertainment, all earnings from their upcoming concert will be donated to the children of two barangays in Antipolo City: Barangay San Jose and Barangay Calawis. Clothes and other necessities will be given to the children after the concert, on October 25.
The Korean girl group has been doing a lot of charity work over the past years. Last year, Momoland held a concert in Korea where they matched the total ticket sales, and gave the money to children who have been injured by car accidents in school zones. In April, they joined the Let’s Fly One charity concert to benefit the victims of violence and abuse. In February 2018, they were also appointed as the new Korean Red Cross Blood Services ambassadors.
This showcase for Good Friends in Manila is only the first of their many charitable concerts here in the Philippines. MLD Entertainment shared that, ever since “Bboom Bboom” and “Bamm” became massive hits in the Philippines, the group has been wanting to return the warm welcome from their Filipino fans, and are planning to continue holding charity events in the country every year.
Good Friends in Manila will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum with Momoland, and singers Ha Sung Woon and Kim Jae Hwan. Tickets are still available for purchase via Ticketnet.
