Covered in various florae for the single’s cover, Nadine Lustre captivates with how she’s “changing with the seasons” on her new single, “Overgrown.” This single is the renowned actress/singer’s first song release in 2 years, marking her first time collaborating with hybrid management, WILD Entertainment.

Here, Nadine reveals her growth, not only with this new sound, but also with the lyrics of the song talking about how “some good things I had to come by” and “thought I knew the real me changing with the seasons.” For the last few years, she has been focusing on her acting, business projects, and gaining recognition.

In an interview with PUSH, she expresses her excitement to work on more “out-of-the-box projects,” such as the horror film Deleter, of which she won the Best Actress award at the 48th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), which also veered away from the dramas and romantic-comedies that she has come to be known from.

Over the pandemic, she has been residing in Siargao, revealing that living on the island has changed her aura and perspective on life. In February, Nadine was announced to be cast in a new horror film, Nokturno, partnering again with Deleter director Mikhail Red.
