Baekhyun, James Reid, and More Headline the Overpass Music Festival This September 26
The one-day event, originally scheduled for March 7, 2020, is going online
What would’ve been a great year for music fests was interrupted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic—after all, 2020 would’ve seen Taylor Swift at Glastonbury for the first time, Frank Ocean and Lana del Rey headlining Coachella, and the first-ever Overpass Music Festival bringing Southeast Asian artists to Oak Canyon Park in Orange County, California.
But a pandemic isn’t about to stop Overpass! The one-day event, originally scheduled for March 7, 2020, is going to become a virtual experience instead. Headlined by Baekhyun of EXO and SuperM fame, Yuna, James Reid, Curtismith, and more, Overpass is finally taking place on September 26.
Here’s everything you need to know about the virtual music fest experience:
Tickets are available via Tixr.
An Early Bird general admission ticket costs $8.00, and gives attendees access to the livestream. This is available until September 19.
A ticket for general admission + merch bundle costs $90.00 and includes access to the live stream as well as a merchandise package consisting for a sweater, fanny pack, bucket hat, disposable camera with lanyard, and Privé Alliance x OVERPASS photocard.
The lineup includes Baekhyun, Mino, Yuna, Gray, James Reid, Phum Viphurit, Joy Crookes, Sosupersam, and Curtismith.
Each artist’s set will be around 20 to 30 minutes.
For each ticket sale, Overpass will be donating a portion of its proceeds to nonprofit organizations.
They have chosen the Young Leaders Council and Project Hope. Attendees can also make separate donations to the organizations.
Overpass Music Festival is happening on September 26, 2020. For more information, visit overpassmusic.com.
