SAB's Debut Single 'She' Gets Featured in 'Flower of Evil'

If you've recently watched any of our Metro K-Drama Round Ups, you already know that one of the editors' favorite K-dramas right now (apart from Record of Youth) is Flower of Evil. With its gripping and captivating storyline, amazing performances by Lee Joon-Gi and Moon Chae-Won, and fantastic musical scoring and OST—it's just too good to miss.

It's no wonder that the production house in charge of bringing Flower of Evil to life had recently featured an original Philippine song for a touching scene in the seventh episode—"She"—the debut song of an up-and-coming artist, no less. The voice behind the song belongs to Star Music's talented singer-songwriter SAB who composed this sunny track about her own coming-of-age story.

"She" accompanied the scene between Gong Mi-Ja (Nam Gi-Ae) and her granddaughter Baek Eun-Ha (Jung Seo-Yeon). 

This isn't the first time "She" has been featured in a hit series. Fans of the BL series Hello, Stranger might also be familiar with "She," as it brought out the undeniable chemistry of Kookai (Vivoree Esclito) and Seph (Patrick Quiroz) whenever it was heard during their scenes in the Black Sheep production.

These features add to the growing list of the SAB's accomplishments with "She", as it previously earned inclusions in Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, as well as a spot in a Spotify Japan editorial playlist after Star Music released the single in July. 

It’s also not the first time that an OPM song from Star Music has accompanied scenes in a Korean entertainment programs. Earlier this year, GIBBS’ debut single “No Hearts” was also featured in the music reality show Good Girl and the K-drama Find Me in Your Memory.
