“Butter,” BTS

BTS is back! The Bangtan boys released a new song today, a funky-fresh dance pop track called “Butter,” the band’s second all-English song. Along with the release came the song’s music video, which features our fave boys dancing and grooving to it, and appropriately so: We’ve been jamming to the song ever since it dropped! 

SOUR, Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo has finally released her debut album, SOUR, after spending the first half of 2021 topping the charts with hits like “drivers license” and “deja vu.” The 11-track album features variations on pop and alternative rock, and is the perfect soundtrack to this upcoming weekend.

Amidst the Chaos: Live at the Hollywood Bowl, Sara Bareilles

If you’re in the mood for something a bit more mellow this weekend, consider listening to Sara Bareilles’ newest live album, Amidst the Chaos: Live at the Hollywood Bowl. It features the best of Sara Bareilles, from hits like “Love Song” and “Brave” to songs from her Broadway musical waitress, and deep cuts like “Satellite Call” and “Let the Rain.” 

Trese, Netflix

Netflix’s adaptation of Trese released its first trailer today! Less than a month before its premiere on June 11, the adaptation starring Liza Soberano and Shay Mitchell continues to cause waves across social media. The series is based on Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo's award-winning Filipino comic series that follows a detective named Alexandra Trese who investigates "crimes of supernatural origin." We can’t wait for Trese to premiere! 

Friends: the Reunion, HBO Max
