Last night at 10:30 p.m., Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco) made landfall in Patnanungan, Quezon, bringing with it torrential rain and destructive winds. This morning, residents of Metro Manila, Southern Luzon, and Central Luzon woke up to flooded roads and homes as the rain and winds continued to wreak havoc. This calamity comes only two weeks after Super Typhoon Rolly (Goni) devastated the Bicol region, causing the deaths of at least twenty people.

Malls for those in need of temporary shelters

According to ABS-CBN News, Robinsons Malls also offered its branches as temporary shelters. Robinsons Place Manila and Robinson Otis will open at 12 noon while the following branches are closed:
