It's Down To Harry vs. Noah For The Role of Prince Eric In 'The Little Mermaid' Live-Action Remake
I'd love to be part of this world!
Rumors are swirling that Disney is about to announce live-action films for animated classics Hercules and The Little Mermaid at the D23 Expo this coming August 23–25.
Word on the grapevine—the grapevine being PopCrave—is that singer and actor Harry Styles and Netflix's breakout star Noah Centineo are battling it out for the role of dreamy, luscious brunette Prince Eric.
As for the role of the darling little mermaid herself, the names Zendaya (The Greatest Showman, Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Jane Levy (Suburgatory, What/If) come up.

Zendaya’s already got red hair from her stint as MJ in the recent Spider-Man movies—and the flaming locks are good look on her, don’t you think so?
For the upcoming Hercules live action film, Alexander Ludwig of The Hunger Games fame is in the lead to play Hercules, with the babely Amber Heard and British favorite Benedict Cumberbatch rumored to play Megara and Hades respectively.
