Get A Chance To Exhibit Your Children’s Art With The "My Mom Is My Everything" Promo

This Mother’s Day, Metro.Style pays tribute to all the mothers and mother figures with a special promo. We invite your children to submit artworks expressing their love and appreciation for all you moms, with 20 chosen works to be featured in an exhibit on May 10-11. The top ten works will be chosen from each of the two categories: Category A for children ages 6-10 years old, and Category B for those of ages 11-15. The grand winner of each category will then be announced on May 12th during the Mother’s Day event at the Eastwood Mall atrium, and will receive a Mommy Care Package and gift certificates.

Eligible contestants must create an original work, be between the ages of 6 and 15, and is a Filipino currently residing in the Philippines. Artworks are to be submitted by a participant, who must be at least 18 years old, is an immediate family member of the contestant, and currently resides in the Philippines. Submitted artworks must be created in one of the following mediums: drawing, painting, photo collage, and digital design. The participant must then upload a photo of the work along with his or her government-issued valid ID and the contestant’s school ID (all in JPEG format with a max. file size of 5MB). In addition, the contestant must explain why #MyMomIsEverything in 50-100 words, preferably in English.

Entries will be judged by the quality of both the artwork and the promo question answer. The panel of judges includes Geolette Esguerra, Editor-in-Chief of Metro Magazine and Metro.Style; Lala Lazaro, Metro Channel Head; and Christina N. Lopez, Metro Group Content Head.

The promo opens on April 3, and entries must be submitted before the deadline on May 1, 2019 at 11:59p.m.
