The ABS-CBN Star Magic Workshop Adds A New Course To Its Lineup

The ABS-CBN Star Magic Workshop, led by director-scriptwriter Rahyan Carlos, is back with a series of trainings in acting, dance, and voice, along with a new course added to its lineup!

Perfect for those who are hoping to build up their proficiency in Tagalog, the subject “Conversational Tagalog Class for Non-Tagalog Speakers”—taught by Weena Sadorra of the University of the Philippines—will be part of this year’s curriculum that includes classes from various professionals such as Carla Martinez, Rubi Rubi, Lynette Concepcion, Heart de Guzman, Air Paz Pablico for the adult acting classes, Edna Mae Landicho and HB Benitez for the kids’ acting classes, Nesh Janiola of Hotlegs for jazz funk dance, Brion Lim of Manouvres Ignite for hip-hop dance, Geejay Romano for urban dance, and Philippine Madrigal Signer alums Luningning San Jose, Julie Anne Reyes, and Roland Roldan for voice lessons.

Not only will the summer workshoppers get to hone their talents in newly-renovated training spaces, they will also get a chance to be picked by Direk Rahyan and Mr. Johnny Manahan in the Artist Registry made possible through a tie-up with ABS-CBN Production Teams, for acting opportunities within the network’s shows.
