Former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama Now Has A Podcast
Launching on July 29, “The Michelle Obama Podcast” will feature candid conversations between special guests and the former First Lady
Lawyer, former First Lady, fashion icon, author, Netflix star, and now, podcaster. Michelle Obama is truly the multi-hyphenate of a generation, and we absolutely love to see it.
Early in June this year, Vulture announced that the Obamas, who signed a deal with Netflix to develop “a portfolio of movies and television shows for the all-consuming video-streaming platform” through their newly created production studio, “Higher Ground” will venture into podcasting.
This July, you can now spend your time, idle or otherwise, with the former First Lady of the United States as she stirs up candid conversations with a range of special guests, from Conan O’Brien to Michelle’s own mom, Marian Robinson.
Every relationship starts with a conversation.

In a statement, she said: “My hope is that this series can be a place to explore meaningful topics together and sort through so many of the questions we’re all trying to answer in our own lives. Perhaps most of all, I hope this podcast will help listeners open up new conversations — and hard conversations — with the people who matter most to them. That’s how we can build more understanding and empathy for one another.”
The Michelle Obama Podcast is available exclusively on Spotify, launching on July 29.
