The Stunning Accomplishment of 15-Year-Old Alex Eala

Yesterday in sports news, 15-year-old Alex Eala won against Spain’s Yvonne Cavalle-Reimers in the final of the ITF Rafa Nadal Academy World Tennis Tour tournament, in Manacor, Spain.

According to a report by ABS-CBN News, “Eala blew a lead in the first set but found her rhythm in the second, en route to a 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 victory to secure her first pro title.”

Last year, Eala rose to No. 2 in the world tennis tour junior rankings after playing the French Open.

The ITF tournament offers a prize money of $15,000.
