UP Diliman Is Offering An Elective On K-Dramas

The University of the Philippines Diliman is offering an elective on K-dramas, which sounds like the dream for many of us! 

The class is called “Special Topics: Analysis of K-drama Series” and it will cover three shows: Crash Landing on You, Chicago Typewriter, and Misaeng. 

It’s open to all of the university’s colleges, and—as of writing—has had over 200 individuals sign up for it, despite having only a total of 75 slots across three classes available. 

The popularity of Korean entertainment continues to soar in the country, and so do classes focusing on a piece of pop culture, as evidenced by the Ateneo de Manila University’s previous classes on love teams, the teleserye, and even Game of Thrones.
