The FASHIONPhilippines Milan Mentorship Program 2025 concluded with a three-day exhibition at Fondazione Sozzani in Milan from September 23 to 25. Organized by CITEM, DOST-PTRI, the Philippine Fashion Coalition, and LIT Fashion Consultancy, the initiative coincided with Milan Fashion Week S/S 2026 and placed Filipino designers before an international audience.<div> </div>Twelve designers were selected to present collections spanning jewelry, womenswear, menswear, and accessories. Designers incorporated fibers from abaca, pineapple, banana, and bamboo, proving that local materials can thrive on a global stage. Many also collaborated with artists to root their garments and accessories in cultural storytelling.<div> </div>By the exhibition’s close, Filipino designers had made a strong impression in Milan. The collections demonstrated that fashion can hold culture, heritage, and innovation in equal measure. The success of the program highlighted that the next chapter of global fashion will not only include Filipino voices but will also be enriched by them.
