The idea of ‘Elyucana’ was already clear, a tribute to the girls of La Union, that sun-warmed, just-out-of-the-water energy so we didn’t want to over-explain it through styling. We kept everything light and edited. I asked Anthony Ramirez to create droplet chandelier earrings that echo the crystals on the gown, so it still feels cohesive without adding weight. Then we went with PVC heels so it almost disappears on stage, like she’s barefoot. It softens the whole look and keeps it clean.”</p><div><em><strong><br/></strong></em></div><div><strong><em>Metro.Style: How did you approach the styling to make Bea look “fresh from the ocean” but still pageant-ready? </em></strong></div><p><strong>PT:</strong> “It’s really in the control. It has to feel undone, but never messy. Skin, hair, movement- everything was meant to feel light and natural, like she’s glowing from the sun, but it still has to hold under stage lights. That balance is key. The story gave us direction, but the way she carries it made everything make sense.
