The Best National Costumes At Binibining Pilipinas 2026

<p>With the Grand Coronation for <strong>Binibining Pilipinas 2026</strong> set on July 18, the aspiring beauty queens have a few days left to give their all for the crown. From feathers and weaves to ornate flowers, the top 36 candidates adorned themselves with their hometown’s rich biodiversity and cultural artistry for the <strong>National Costume Competition</strong>.</p><div><br/></div><p>The crowd favorites begin with <strong>Samantha Zabarte</strong> of Dasmariñas, Cavite, whose national costume had wings that made her soar to our favorites list. Designed by Janela Alcoran, the violet butterfly ensemble was inspired by the Paru-Paro Festival and its celebration of transformation, hope, and the resilient spirit of a woman. <strong>Gwyneth Chan</strong> of Cagayan de Oro stepped onto the stage in a sparkling mermaid cut dress, custom made by Jie-Jie Aisa. From the depths of the province’s local folklore, Gwyneth paraded with the giant golden fish known as “Oro” in her hand, which was believed to be the city’s protector. </p><div><br/></div><p>However, the title of Binibining Tourism 2026 was awarded to the woman who stood out the most.<strong> Pauline Thea Ibuyan</strong> was the epitome of nature’s beauty in her Philippine traje de mestiza-inspired gown.
