These brands have worked together to give you the most stylish year!

Fashion has always been about collaborations. When you think about it, everything in your closet is a product of many minds. What more if it's a brainchild of two fashion powerhouses? By combining ideas, these pieces get more interesting and in return become coveted by many! 2022 is about to see no shortage of this. The biggest fashion brands have collaborated to give us yet another prolific year for fashion mashups. From surprising creative swaps  to the continuation of our favorite streetwear-luxury pairings, here are the top fashion collaborations we are excited for this year.

Adidas x Prada

540x540

Let it be known that we’ve been waiting for a collaboration as cool as Pradidas. Ready-to-wear pieces for men and women, bags, and accessories are set to define the collaborative collection by Prada and Adidas. While its ultimately a given that the pieces will be designed with stripes and the emblematic Prada triangular enamel plaque, items from this collection will only come in black and white or all-black. Clothing, leather goods, and accessories will retail from $995 to $2,480, the Pradidas Car Coat made entirely from Re-Nylon being the most expensive.

The collection will drop on January 13 worldwide at Prada stores and online on Adidas.

Barbie x Balmain

540x540

Balmain x Barbie easily sparks joy and nostalgia because everything from this collaboration is in pink. It makes perfect sense to to see the signature Barbie pink align with the modern Balmain Army’s bold spirit in this unisex collection. From bags to ready-to-wear apparel, this 50-piece collection will surely cheer up your inner wild child. In addition to the clothing, three NFTs dressed in Balmain and exclusively from Mattel Creations will be up for bidding.

The collaboration will be launching on January 13 on Balmain’s website and store, as well as Mattel Creations’ retailers worldwide. Balmain x Barbie NFTs will be up for auction from January 11 to January 14.

Iris Apfel x H&M

540x540

The legendary Iris Apfel's collaboration with H&M will release this Spring and we’re already feeling pure bliss. Iris, who recently turned 100 last year, is known for being an American original. For ten decades, she has been a force of fashion and in the industry of interior design and business. Almost always in vivid prints, opulent fabrics, and campy jewelry, generations have looked up to Iris for ageless fashion inspirations. The upcoming collection celebrates her through an assortment of eclectic ready-to-wear and ornate accessories inspired by her over-the-top looks and her larger-than-life personality.

Stay tuned for the when this extraordinary collection drops!

KAWS x The North Face

540x540

For adventure-seekers and streetwear connoisseurs, the KAWS x The North Face collaboration will most definitely make up your year. Puffer jackets, tracksuits, t-shirts, and bags in bold contrasting panels and the recognizable ‘XX’ KAWS motif fuses the brands’ technical and signature styles all in one canvas. This collaboration not only marks the first time KAWS and The North Face worked together but it also paves a new way for tech-focused outerwear and design to co-exist.

The collection, with prices ranging from $55 to $550, will roll out at The North Face retail stores starting January 7 in Asia and February 17 for the rest of the world.

Yeezy x Gap x Balenciaga

540x540

No piece from this collaboration have been announced yet but there’s already a lot to unpack from Yeezy Gap engineered by Balenciaga. Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Demna, the Creative Director Balenciaga might just have the biggest fashion collaboration of the year and the wait is already gruesome. It could be clothes or it could be something completely different but one thing is for sure, Ye and Demna’s collaboration is expected to sell out.
