5 Stylish Shows To Binge Watch During The Holidays
The holidays, apart from being synonymous to parties and binge eating and drinking, also means a bit of down time. During the break, you can actually spend some time with loved ones, go out of town, or simply enjoy being at home reading a book or getting the most of your Netflix account. There are some pretty cool shows to start watching this season, all of which have their own fashion moments you can totally get inspired by. Here are our favorites:
Dynasty
The 1980s remake is filled to the brim with luxurious ensembles from both leading ladies and they're not about to stop anytime soon. This show is oozing with an insider's look into the life of the rich and famous, and into their equally amazing closets.
The Crown
If you think this show is just about boring, conservative gowns worn by royals, think again. Every episode literally drips with jewels and designer gowns truly fit for a queen. If anything, this show is the perfect pick to binge watch before attending a ball or a year-ender party. Costume designer Michele Clapton of Game of Thrones fame does an amazing job at recreating what Queen Elizabeth II and the entire cast would have worn during the time, with a 2017 spin of course. (Ed's note: The Crown season 2 is now available for streaming on Netflix!)

If the '80s are not having a moment in 2017, we don't know what is! First there is Dynasty, now there's this! Glow is all about an out-of-work actress living in Hollywood, striving to find fame by entering the weird but wonderful world of women's wrestling. She goes this route alongside 12 other Hollywood misfits, and does so in brighter than life spandex outfits and one-piece swimsuits millennials would totally rock today.
Big Little Lies

The show, produced by Reese Witherspoon, is based on Liane Moriarty's bestselling book with the same name, and focuses on the messy, complicated lives of the women behind the seemingly perfect facade of the neighborhood of Monterey, California. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, and Nicole Kidman, the show perfectly portrays laidback California style but with an elegant, luxurious twist—as a lot of these women lead successful, affluent lives.
Empire
Though already on its 4th season, Empire continues to serve us with only the fiercest fashion perfectly representing the cut-throat industry that is the music business. The Lyon family never fails to amaze in designer goods with an edgy 'hood vibe only they can pull off. Doesn't hurt that the music is pretty amazing too!
